Hurley Cricket Club has a long tradition of keeping accurate records of player statistics and club records. The first of an unbroken series of annual statistics began in 1976 when Kevin Clement produced the first review to rival Wisden. Our records have been maintained every year. Phil Ridgeway has appeared over 1,000 times for the club scoring more than 34,000 runs and taking over 1,100 wickets. Keith Shipway captured 121 wickets in 1987 whilst Chris Long took 1,052 wickets opening the bowling for Hurley between 1975-2005. Sid Forrest, a brilliant keeper took 455 catches and 254 stumpings in his career spanning 640 games and 4 decades.
