Club Supper
This year's club supper will be held on 22nd October at Bird Hills Golf Club, Hawthorn Hill. Tickets are £25 each ( £15 for colts) Details and ticket application form will be posted in due course.
Tom Hooper wins 2011 Poker Title.
The first social event of the season, the Curry and Poker festival was held on Saturday 14th May. After consuming an excellent selection of curries, thirteen players contested the poker torunament.
The final three players were all Sunday 2s regulars, Pat (TM) Hinnell. Robert (In Your Face) Simons and Tom (Hoopdog) Hooper. With Bert holding the majority of the chips, he looked favourite to win but failed to push home is advantage, folding when he had the game in his hands. Pat was the first to go out and Hoopdog chipped away at Bert's stack before forcing him all in and takiing the title.

Quiz Night 2010
This year's quiz was won by 'Dwayne's NIghmares', consisting of Val Forrest, Jeff Dawson, Nally Fernando and Clive Williams with 66 points from a possible 80. Excellent food was served up by the Sunday 2s, whose quiz skills were not quite up to the same standard as their cooking.
World CupBeer Festival
This year's beer festival held on Saturday 12th June was a great success despite the lack lustre efforts of the England football team. Good food and ale was enjoyed by all, and the youngsters took part in a mass football match on the outfield.
2010 Poker Championship
The 2010 edition of the Hurley Poker Chamionship will take place at the club on Saturday 17th July. As well as the poker tournament there will be plenty of food and drink available.
